o11tobi runs Last Block out of Virginia and anchors the label's roster as its main producer and rapper. He's the one who started the label in the first place, and the one who still oversees most of what happens on it day to day — from signing off on a final mix to deciding when a project is actually ready to go out.
His 2025 album lo-fi beatz was the label's debut release: a rough, entirely self-produced project made without outside funding or backing, put out on nobody's schedule but his own. It set the tone for everything that followed — not polished for polish's sake, but built to sound intentional even at its rawest.
Since then, the ambition has scaled up considerably. He's been pushing Last Block further into higher-fidelity territory, including Dolby Atmos mixes and animated cover art usually reserved for artists with a much bigger budget behind them — while still doing every step of the production process himself, in-house, without a studio or an outside engineer involved.
Beyond his own catalog, o11tobi is the one holding Last Block together as an actual operation. That means the parts nobody sees on the surface — coordinating features between artists, deciding release order and spacing so drops don't crowd each other out, keeping the label's distribution relationship in order, and making sure every project meets the same Lossless, fully-credited standard before it goes out under the Last Block name.
It's a role that blends artist and label head in a way that's genuinely uncommon at this scale. Most of the roster's collaborative tracks exist because he actively built the connective tissue between artists rather than waiting for it to happen organically — pairing DeeTee Tobi with 2000.SKI on a feature, bringing Fireball and FEAR X onto the same single, and making sure everyone's part gets mixed with the same care as his own.
Every o11tobi record starts and ends inside Logic Pro, with quick ideas occasionally captured on GarageBand iOS first and rebuilt properly once they're worth chasing. There's no outside mixing or mastering engineer in the chain — the same person who writes and produces a track is the one finishing it, start to finish, which keeps every creative decision consistent from the first draft to the final export.
That process is covered in far more depth on the label's Behind The Screen page, but the short version is this: nothing about the Last Block sound is outsourced. The rawness on lo-fi beatz and the ambition on MONEY I$ THE AN$WER came out of the exact same setup, just years and a lot of repetition apart.
o11tobi's next major project, WITHER: THE ALBUM, is set for January 15, 2027, with a WITHER: DELUXE edition following one week later on January 22, 2027. Both are currently open for pre-save on the label's On Deck page.
